After a huge redesign in 2009, the 2011 Acura TL will have most of the same features from the previous model year. Although mainly unchanged, drivers loved the 2010 TL,so the 2011 will please drivers as well. A five-speed automatic transmission is standard on both models with an option of a six-speed manual transmission. Both engines allow for a fast acceleration of 0-60 mph in 6.7 seconds.

Drivers looking for fuel efficiency in a luxury sedan can find that in the Acura TL. The TL achieved 18 city mpg and 26 highway mpg. The TL SH-AWD achieves an estimated 17 city mpg and 25 highway mpg.

Safety is also a key feature in the TL, and the vehicle has received great marks from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The TL earned the highest possible rating from the IIHS for frontal offset crash test, side impact crash test and rear crash protection/head restraint rating.
