The Chrysler Group posted a five-percent sales increase for July, leading Austin Chrysler dealer Mac Haik Dodge Chrysler Jeep, announced.  July was also the fourth-straight month in which Chrysler achieved year-over-year sales increases.

Chrysler further revealed that it will begin debuting 16 new or largely redesigned vehicles during the month of August.  These new vehicles will continue to be unveiled through the end of the year.

Specific models that shone for Chrysler in July were the Chrysler Town and Country and the Chrysler Sebring.  A winner of nine-consecutive Polk Automotive Loyalty Awards, the Town and Country enjoyed an 18 percent increase over last July.  The Sebring sedan and convertible meanwhile, were up 11 percent compared to a year ago.
